The 5th Korea Nanotechnology Initiative(KNI) provides the vision and goal for development of nanotechnology for the next 10 years with strategies and key tasks to implement
such in accordance with the article 4 of Act on Promotion of Nanotechnology and article 2 of enforcement decree of the same act.
KNI has been established by nine central ministries including the Ministry of Science and ICT, and was confirmed at a deliberative meeting of the Presidential Advisory Council
on Science & Technology on April 30, 2021.
